Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Automotive Software Test Automation Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in HIL environments and automated test development to support advanced automotive software verification activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for vehicle-level and system-level verification
• Work extensively in HIL environments to validate automotive software and control systems
• Develop and execute test automation using Python and dSPACE AutomationDesk
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and quality assurance
• Perform testing and validation of systems related to electric propulsion, including Power Electronics, Battery Control, and Energy Management
• Work with real-time simulation, CAN, and Automotive Ethernet for communication and system validation
• Ensure proper test documentation, traceability, and reporting in line with project and quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies aligned with VCC standards and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in automotive software test automation
• Strong hands-on experience with HIL testing
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automated testing
• Solid experience with dSPACE AutomationDesk
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
• Experience with real-time simulation environments
• Strong understanding of CAN and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols
• Domain knowledge of electric and hybrid propulsion systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaborative Agile teams

• Prior experience working in vehicle-level testing
