Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Drive and follow up on production-related issues and error reports for turbine components
• Investigate deviations reported from internal and external production as well as from the service organization
• Perform root cause analysis with support from cooling, strength, and other turbine R&D specialists
• Develop concepts and detailed design solutions to address identified issues
• Create and update detailed CAD models and technical drawings
• Review solutions in accordance with the Product Development Process (PDP)
• Update standard documentation and ensure design changes are properly documented
• Collaborate closely with production and service departments to ensure effective resolution of issues

What you bring:

• Civil or university degree in Mechanical Engineering
• A few years of experience working as a mechanical designer (senior level not required)
• Strong competence in mechanical design, CAD, and detail drawings
• Ability to drive tasks independently and collaborate across functions
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Forward-thinking mindset with the confidence to ask questions and challenge assumptions
• Strong ability to interact with production and service organizations in a structured and solution-oriented way
