Pulp Competence Centre in BA Biomaterials is an expert unit that supports our chemical pulp mills with services including operational improvements, technical support and process development. Our team works in process improvement area and supports the development of the future products and processes.
We are now looking for a Senior Process Specialist to join our Pulp Competence Centre team. Your main task will be to lead and support development projects and process optimization performed together with our pulp mills in the fiberline area. In your work you will have frequent contact with our mills and you also perform a part of your projects at the sites. As the work is done in close co-operation with our pulp mills it demands good interpersonal skills and an open mindset.
Your location will be in one of our Biomaterials sites, (Stockholm, Imatra, Helsinki), preferably in Sweden, but other locations could be considered. You will report to Director Pulp Competence Centre.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person, who has a wide understanding and experience related to fiber line. Wood yard and raw material competence is seen as a merit. Your proficiency is based on a university level degree in pulping, chemical engineering, automation or similar. You preferably have at least 10 years of experience in pulp mill operations or development and are familiar with distributed control systems. Strong expertise in data analysis tools such as Wedge is essential to succeed in this role. Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, as well as simulation systems like WINGEMS is a merit. You communicate fluently in English and preferably also in Swedish or Finnish, both spoken and written.
As a person you have an analytical approach and work systematic in things you do. You always thrive for good results, with an open mind and willing to take new initiatives. You enjoy working in a world class team and in a multicultural environment. The position requires travelling.
