Netlight is looking for a Global Payroll Specialist to coordinate outsourced payroll for the Nordics and beyond, in close collaboration with HR, Finance, and external payroll partners.

The Team Netlight’s global HR organization consists of 25 colleagues across HR, Payroll, and Learning & Development. Payroll is part of HR and serves as a bridge between HR and Finance, with HR as the home function.
The Payroll team includes responsibility for both in-house and outsourced payroll solutions across multiple countries. The role is based in Stockholm City (Urban Escape, Gallerian).
The Role – Global Payroll Specialist The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate outsourced payroll processes for Netlight’s Nordic offices and the Netherlands, with potential to expand to additional countries as Netlight continues to grow.
Payroll operations are managed through external payroll providers, and the Global Payroll Specialist ensures accuracy, compliance, and high-quality delivery throughout the entire payroll cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating end-to-end payroll processes with external payroll providers
• Collecting, validating, and quality-assuring payroll data prior to submission
• Daily communication with payroll providers
• Ensuring correct reporting to Finance and relevant authorities
• Handling complex payroll-related questions from the organization
• Contributing to process development and continuous improvement within payroll
• Supporting the setup of payroll processes for new countries and offices
• Participating in long-term initiatives to streamline and potentially centralize payroll providers globally
The role currently covers approximately 400–500 payslips across the Nordics, while working closely with colleagues responsible for in-house payroll in Sweden and Germany.

Qualifications
Required:
• Experience in payroll coordination within the Nordics
• Confidence handling larger payroll volumes and complex payroll calculations
• Experience working with outsourced payroll providers
Meritorious:
• Experience with Swedish payroll
• Experience managing payroll processes end-to-end (“from hire to pay”)
• Experience working in an international or multi-country payroll setup
The number of years of experience is not decisive, practical experience, confidence in payroll processes, and professional maturity are what matter most.
