Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Component Owner for FIE system to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Act as Component Owner for the Fuel Injection Equipment (FIE) system within the automotive domain
• Design and develop mechanical technical solutions based on defined prerequisites such as function, geometry, volume, cost, quality targets, and regulatory requirements
• Lead and support mechanical design engineering activities within the assigned technical area
• Take an active role in project deliveries and ensure milestones are met
• Integrate inputs and deliverables from multiple contributors and interfaces
• Secure quality, maturity, and readiness of the design prior to release
• Ensure that technical solutions meet business targets and overall system requirements

What you bring:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and product development
• Previous experience as a Component Owner within the combustion engine area
• Solid knowledge of fuel systems and fuel filtration (highly appreciated)
• Experience with mechanical design tools such as CREO and KOLA (meritorious)
• Strong background in product and machine design within the automotive industry
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams
