Lead Engineer We are now looking for a Lead Engineer to strengthen our team. You will work with a broad range of products within train connection systems, with a special focus on couplers. As a Lead Engineer, you’ll lead technical design for global customer projects and play a key role in shaping innovative train connection systems. You will be the main interface to our customers on project-specific design issues and manage the technical part of the project throughout the engineering process until first article inspection and first assembly on the train. During the process, you will collaborate with a team of engineers responsible for detailed design, calculations, and other functions. You will report to the Lead Engineer Manager, and the position is based in Vika, Falun. Your responsibilities • Technical project management • Act as the main technical interface with the customer • Perform detail and system design per customer specifications and internal guidelines • Prepare project documents and drawings • Manage project meetings and design reviews, both internal and external • Review and approve drawings and documents • Participate in internal and external First Article Inspections • Create and follow design time plans according to customer specifications and Dellner project plan • Be the main interface for other departments regarding project-specific design • Travel as required by project needs Your skills and experience We are looking for someone with an MSc or BSc in engineering and at least three years of experience. You are skilled in CAD and experienced in project management. You combine strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to lead projects to successful completion. You are organized, communicative, customer-focused, and comfortable communicating in English, both spoken and written. Dina ansvarsområden • Teknisk projektledning • Vara huvudkontakt mot kund i tekniska frågor • Utföra detalj- och systemkonstruktion enligt kundspecifikationer och interna riktlinjer • Förbereda projektdokument och ritningar • Leda projektmöten och designgranskningar, både internt och externt • Granska och godkänna ritningar och dokument • Delta vid interna och externa First Article Inspections • Skapa och följa designplaner enligt kundspecifikationer och Dellners projektplan • Vara huvudkontakt för andra avdelningar i projektspecifika designfrågor • Resor förekommer enligt projektbehov Din kompetens och erfarenhet Vi söker dig som har en MSc eller BSc inom teknik och minst tre års erfarenhet. Du är skicklig på CAD och har erfarenhet av projektledning. Du kombinerar stark teknisk förståelse och analytisk förmåga med förmågan att leda projekt till framgångsrikt avslut. Du är strukturerad, kommunikativ, kundfokuserad och bekväm med att kommunicera på engelska i både tal och skrift.
