We are now looking for a skilled and experienced manager who can lead and develop the Intercom Solutions department at New Business. Is that you? What will you do? You will build and develop your department to make sure that the teams and projects dedicated to intercom solutions execute under the best possible conditions for efficient deliveries. You will be a manager of managers and project managers, leading your own management team for intercom solutions. Together with the managers and project managers, you will work with both operational and long-term strategical challenges. You will work close to the Business and Product Managers and will be heavily involved in product & solution strategy discussions, roadmap planning, technical platform selection and following up on project and program status. Collaboration is a key to success, and you will be expected to build, leverage, and maintain a strong network within Axis and with our subsidiary 2N in Prague. You will be part of the New Business R&D management team and will be involved in the work of the overall development of our R&D Department at New Business. Who are we looking for? You should have a strong interest in developing organizations and teams. This means you will be able to motivate the people you work with, to create an open, productive and innovative work environment. Apart from this we believe you have a strong personal drive, enjoy teamwork and the leadership comes natural for you. You should be skilled at creating and fostering collaboration between different teams and sites. We believe you have a master's degree in engineering, professional background as engineer and at least 5 years of line manager experience. It's a merit to have: * Technical experience and knowledge of end-to-end solutions, covering embedded devices and management SW. * Experience of leading other leaders. The Intercom Solutions Department This department was recently created. The department consists of two SW teams and one HW team in Lund. In the daily operational, you will also be responsible for the collaboration and outcome from the programs and projects, including QA in Lund and a SW team in Prague. The main goal for the department is to provide competitive intercom solutions for existing and new customers. Our New Business Department New Business is an organization within AXIS with teams in Lund, Sweden and Prague, Czech Republic. We are responsible for evaluating new business ideas from a technical and a commercial perspective. We develop several innovative product lines outside Axis network video portfolio, to offer our customers the best products, solutions and services on the market. The department has market-oriented product and solutions resources and product development resources. The ambition is to leverage on Axis existing expertise and capacity which builds on a flexible and open co-operation with other departments.
