As a leader in ocean and air freight, GEODIS Sweden is expanding our service portfolio to include road transport. We are now looking for a driven and skilled Road Manager to lead the launch and development of this exciting new business area!

About the position
As Road Manager, you will be a key player in launching and growing our road transport business in Sweden.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Investigating and planning the most suitable road transportation set up for GEODIS Sweden.
Making sure GEODIS Sweden chose the most appropriate and cost-effective routes for shipments, considering cargo type, costs, transit times, and security.
Reviewing pricing strategies and profit margin analyses to ensure our competitiveness.
Negotiating optimal delivery rates and selecting the most reliable vendors.
Liaising with local vendors and partners to ensure goods are transported in line with customer requirements.
Manage financial business result, budget, turnover and KPIs.
Leading sustainability initiatives in freight operations, such as optimizing load capacity and selecting eco-friendly carriers to reduce environmental impact.
Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
Acting as a GEODIS ambassador.

Experience in road transport, intermodal, and multimodal logistics.
Post-secondary education in logistics or economics.
Strong business acumen and understanding of financials.
Project management and administrative skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Excellent collaborative and communication skills, with fluency in Swedish and English.
A well-established professional network in the logistics field is considered a plus.
You are skilled at building positive relationships and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
