Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Diagnostic Method Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Bridge the gap between product development and aftermarket service to ensure TRATON vehicles receive world-class diagnostic and troubleshooting support
• Collaborate closely with system and function owners to secure robust diagnostic capabilities throughout development projects
• Develop and implement diagnostic logic and troubleshooting guidance for mechanics in the SWS diagnostic tool using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Test and validate diagnostic implementations using test rigs and real vehicles in the workshop environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement of diagnostic workflows, tool usability and built-in support for service technicians
• Ensure high-quality, reliable and maintainable diagnostic functions aligned with vehicle system behavior and communication protocols

What you bring:

• M.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or equivalent experience
• Fluent skills in both Swedish and English
• Strong development skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Good understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics, including experience with embedded systems in vehicles
• Familiarity with vehicle communication concepts and protocols
• C/CE/D driver’s license is an advantage
• Experience working with electrical system or similar OEM environments is meritorious
