We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer within Mechatronics with a strong focus on project delivery and collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers. In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation handheld products used in both professional and urban environments.
You will be part of a highly motivated R&D team working with power systems, responsible for the development of powertrains for both battery- and petrol-driven products. This position plays a key role in shaping future product solutions from concept to production.
The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, and detail-oriented, with a strong technical mindset. You should be comfortable working independently as well as in team settings, possess strong communication skills, and be confident in making technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
3D and 2D design of electromechanical components
Electromechanical concept development and support of feasibility studies
Development of new products as well as improvements to existing designs
Support squad and team deliveries across development phases
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external suppliers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechatronics or mechanical design
Hands-on experience with CAD design tools (e.g., CATIA)
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Fluent in English
Meritorious / Nice to Have
Interest in embedded systems and mechatronics
Experience in development of high-volume products
Knowledge of electromechanical components, including wiring and PCB
Experience working closely with suppliers and customers
Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter)
Experience in designing light metal components, machining, and molding tools
