Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior System Application Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Perform system- and application-level testing across software, electronics and robotic equipment to ensure high-quality product performance
- Set up, configure and validate robot cells for various industrial automation applications
- Program industrial robots using RAPID and contribute to software-related testing using C#
- Develop, execute and document structured test cases and maintain clear, updated test specifications
- Collaborate closely with product owners and cross-functional stakeholders to align expectations, share findings and provide supporting materials such as videos, photos and demonstrations
- Coordinate with Global Solution Centers to define appropriate test configurations and specifications
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within testing processes and contribute to best-practice development
- Apply established engineering principles and standard practices while working under guidance from senior engineers
What you bring:
- Structured, quality-focused approach with a strong understanding of automation equipment and testing methodologies
- Experience or knowledge in system and application testing within automation or robotics
- Basic to intermediate programming skills in RAPID and C#, with flexibility regarding exact competence level
- Solid knowledge of robot systems and electronics hardware
- Strong organizational ability, a self-motivated mindset and a results-oriented way of working
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field with 0–2 years of experience, or a relevant technical degree with approximately 10 years of industry experience
- Fluent English communication skills; Swedish proficiency is highly desirable
