Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Technical Lead within Diagnostics Operation Development to strengthen our team in Gothenburg, Sweden-

The role

As Diagnostic Operations development Engineer you will be part of the development team for off-board diagnostics solutions. Off-board solutions provide ways to fault trace, test and calibrate vehicles on aftermarket. This work requires a wide understanding of the complete platform, such as dependencies between functions and how end-user will interact with the tool and vehicle on aftermarket. Problem solving, adaptability, and creative solutions on a case to case basis are strengths that are considered very important in this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop Diagnostic Service Tool (both test and calibration) Operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create optimal solutions for aftermarket

• Verify operations at test rig & complete vehicle

• Develop troubleshooting strategy for DTCs and symptoms that are considered relevant for machine/components within area of responsibility

• Contribute actively in an Agile development environment

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Software (preferably within the automotive domain)

• Work Experience with Grade-X or aftermarket diagnostics tools and aftermarket technology

• Solid understanding of electrical systems architecture

• Strong background in complete vehicle level

• Ability to read, analyze, and implement engineering specifications

• Previous experience working in an Agile team setup

• Proficiency in English – both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to clients software processes and aftermarket area

• Experience with tools and frameworks commonly used in automotive software
