Full-time students from the School of Business and Economics at Linnaeus University are invited to participate in an exciting initiative to collaborate on their Master’s and Bachelor’s theses.
This project examines how Swedish SMEs can build legitimacy when entering emerging markets by adopting a regional, rather than country-specific, approach. Students will explore strategies to help Swedish businesses gain trust and credibility across an entire region, focusing on broader market dynamics rather than individual countries. By analyzing the local business environment, students will provide strategic recommendations to establish a strong regional presence. This project will equip Swedish SMEs with the tools needed to foster sustainable growth and credibility across diverse emerging markets.
Priority will be given to students studying international business, those with an industrial marketing background, and groups that emphasize inclusivity and diversity. Additionally, applicants who aim to publish their thesis as open-access on Linnaeus University’s DiVA platform will be given extra consideration.
