We’re looking for a highly skilled Product Designer to help shape the future of Avinode’s digital products. You will work as part of the product trio with your Product Manager and Tech Lead, taking an active role in identifying opportunities, framing problems, and designing thoughtful, effective solutions. You will lead the design process within your product area, influencing both what we build and how we build it.

This role is ideal for someone comfortable navigating complex workflows, who enjoys exploring emerging tools and AI-assisted methods, and is motivated by designing industry-critical software used across a connected product ecosystem.

What you will be doing

As a Product Designer at Avinode, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our products. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end design process—from early discovery all the way through delivery, iteration, and long-term improvement. Working alongside your Product Manager and Tech Lead, you’ll help define product direction, uncover opportunities, and make thoughtful trade-offs that balance user value, business needs, and technical feasibility.

You’ll conduct and synthesize user research to deeply understand customer needs and translate those insights into clear, actionable design decisions. Through prototypes and other design artifacts, you’ll bring clarity to complex concepts and drive alignment across teams. Close collaboration with engineers will be essential as you help ensure our solutions are both high quality and feasible to implement.

You’ll also work with stakeholders across Avinode to maintain a shared understanding of goals, context, and constraints. As part of the design team, you’ll contribute to—and help evolve—our design system to support consistency and scalability across multiple products.

In this role, you will:

• Evaluate the impact of released solutions and iterate based on customer feedback and product data.

• Explore new tools, workflows, and AI-assisted methods to improve how we design and validate solutions.

• Support and actively participate in design critiques, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What you will bring along

You have a solid foundation in product design, with experience navigating complex problem spaces and contributing to cohesive, user-centered product experiences. You’re comfortable working across cross-functional teams, designing within multi-product ecosystems, and using research to inform clear design decisions. You bring strong execution, a collaborative mindset, and a curiosity for new tools and modern design practices.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• 3+ years designing digital products, ideally in SaaS or complex B2B environments

• Strong interaction design skills rooted in user-centered thinking

• Experience conducting and synthesizing user research

• Proficiency in Figma and working with design systems at scale

• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and high-quality execution

• Ability to structure complexity, move work forward, and collaborate across teams

• Curiosity about new tools, including AI-assisted workflows

• A collaborative, feedback-friendly approach

Bonus Skills

• Comfort with technical prototyping or code-based tools

• Experience in aviation, logistics, or other workflow-intensive domains

• Experience building multi-platform design systems from scratch
