Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Ergonomist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Contribute ergonomics and Human–Machine Interaction (HMI) expertise to the Driver Environment area.
- Support feature development across Ergonomics, Visibility, User Interface and related End-User-Functions
- Participate in defining long-term strategies, roadmaps, and feature directions for the driver environment
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and user-centred driving experience through well-grounded ergonomics and HMI design decisions
- Plan and execute work in an agile setup, including 10-week increments using Jira
- Conduct or support user studies, virtual ergonomic evaluations, and VR-based assessments
- Utilize tools such as Catia V5, Delmia Human Builder, System Weaver, and Figma in daily work
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to secure alignment across product development
- Balance detailed analysis with a holistic view of the overall driver experience
- Contribute actively to continuous improvement and knowledge building within the competence area
What you bring:
- BSc or MSc in Industrial Design Engineering, Product Development, Interaction Design, or equivalent education
- Experience in ergonomics, visibility, user interface, or similar vehicle-related feature areas (meritorious)
- Skills in virtual ergonomic simulation, user studies, or VR-based evaluation (meritorious)
- Proficiency in relevant tools such as Catia V5, Delmia Human Builder, System Weaver, and Figma
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- A positive attitude, strong drive, structured way of working, and eagerness for self-development
- Ability to work with both detailed analyses and high-level user experience perspectives
- Previous experience within the Group and familiarity with its systems and processes (meritorious)
