Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Build, maintain, and optimize data platforms for collecting, storing, and processing large and complex data sets
• Design and implement data models and transformations to support analytics, reporting, and business insights
• Develop, manage, and improve ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure high data quality, reliability, and availability
• Ensure robust data quality, governance, and security across all data flows and components
• Make data accessible and usable for analysts, data consumers, and decision makers
• Drive best practices in data modeling, documentation, coding standards, and development workflows
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Work with development teams, source system owners, data engineers, and data architects to secure end-to-end data integration
• Support continuous improvement and scalability of the data platform and related processes

What you bring:

• Strong experience with SQL, Data Vault modeling, and dimensional modeling
• Hands-on experience with GCP, BigQuery (or similar cloud data warehouses), and GitHub (or similar version control tools)
• Advantageous experience with DBT and Terraform (or similar infrastructure-as-code tools)
• Experience with Looker or other BI/analytics tools is a plus
• Beneficial experience with Python for data processing and automation
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality, structure, and scalability
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
