Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Electronics Test & Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on electronics testing activities for a battery-charging product targeted for launch in spring 2026.
- Take ownership of the certification process, including managing compliance activities and producing all required documentation for regulatory approval.
- Collaborate with and plan testing together with external test houses, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with project timelines.
- Perform hands-on electronics testing, including verification of overcurrent protection, earth leakage circuit breakers, and other safety-critical functions.
- Ensure requirements compliance based on relevant standards such as EN IEC 61851-1, EN IEC 61439-7, and EN 60947-2 (detailed knowledge is not required, but understanding of regulatory compliance is essential).
- Prepare clear, structured, and high-quality test reports and documentation in both Swedish and English.
- Work collaboratively with the second engineer in the team to split responsibilities effectively and ensure timely progress.
What you bring:
- Several years of experience in electronics testing, certification processes, or compliance engineering.
- Strong interest in testing and a genuinely positive attitude toward test execution and validation activities.
- Ability to produce detailed and high-quality reports, with enjoyment of documentation work.
- Experience collaborating with test houses and managing external testing activities.
- Solid understanding of requirements compliance, safety standards, and approval processes.
- Proficiency in both Swedish and English for communication and documentation.
- Availability to begin testing activities in January when prototypes become ready
