💡 Your purpose:

Lead and develop system requirements to ensure our products deliver exceptional value — today and in the future. You’ll be the go-to person for translating ideas into functional specifications, ensuring safety, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

🌟 What you’ll do:

In this role, you will:

• Drive system requirement management for Machine Functions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to align on features and functional vision.
• Coordinate knowledge-sharing with Supply and Service teams.
• Ensure smooth lifecycle management by identifying improvements and driving continuous enhancements.
• Communicate progress clearly and proactively.
• Support a positive, safe, and inclusive working environment.

You will also take technical ownership of the functional requirement specifications and act with the authority needed to ensure system integrity.

🔧 Your daily impact:

Working together with our Senior Systems Engineer, you will:

• Apply modern systems engineering methods and documentation.
• Lead system requirements analysis within Machine Functions.
• Define functional requirements and interfaces that meet customer and product needs.
• Collaborate with V&V and Machine Safety Engineers to create high-level test scenarios.
• Define sub-system integration and verification processes.
• Develop sub-system specifications.
• Conduct FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to ensure reliability and safety.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role with wide visibility and influence across our organization.

Qualifications

🎓 What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in R&D, Systems Engineering, or a related role in an international environment.
• Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with a fact-based approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with a holistic, strategic view — while also focusing on important details.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a passion for new technologies.
• Proactive mindset: you challenge existing methods and propose smart improvements.
• A collaborative, “can-do” attitude aligned with our values of diversity, inclusion, and teamwork.
