Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Service Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Prepare and define technical scopes for gas turbine overhauls, repairs, and spare parts in alignment with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop tailored and technically sound sales proposals.
• Recommend service bulletins, modifications, and improvements that enhance turbine performance, availability, and reliability.
• Specify site activities, tooling, instruments, spare parts, and consumables required for upcoming overhauls.
• Support modernization and upgrade projects, contributing technical input during both sales and execution phases.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and propose effective, technically optimized solutions.
• Act as the technical lead during execution of maintenance projects, working closely with project managers and field service teams.
• Ensure seamless handover from sales to execution and maintain technical support throughout the project lifecycle to secure successful delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Contribute technical expertise and scope details to the preparation of Long-Term Program (LTP) contracts for the turbines under your responsibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build competence, improve processes, and support continuous development within a global service organization.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
• Technical experience with gas turbines or rotating equipment; experience with Siemens turbines is an advantage.
• Strong collaboration abilities and comfort working with both internal teams and external customers.
• Solid problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic project environments.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, run meetings, and present scopes confidently to clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Proficiency in engineering and maintenance-related IT systems and tools.
• Experience with medium-sized gas turbine maintenance, service business operations, or rotary equipment maintenance is considered meritorious
