Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Service Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Prepare and define technical scopes for gas turbine overhauls, repairs, and spare parts in alignment with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop tailored and technically sound sales proposals.
- Recommend service bulletins, modifications, and improvements that enhance turbine performance, availability, and reliability.
- Specify site activities, tooling, instruments, spare parts, and consumables required for upcoming overhauls.
- Support modernization and upgrade projects, contributing technical input during both sales and execution phases.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and propose effective, technically optimized solutions.
- Act as the technical lead during execution of maintenance projects, working closely with project managers and field service teams.
- Ensure seamless handover from sales to execution and maintain technical support throughout the project lifecycle to secure successful delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Contribute technical expertise and scope details to the preparation of Long-Term Program (LTP) contracts for the turbines under your responsibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build competence, improve processes, and support continuous development within a global service organization.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
- Technical experience with gas turbines or rotating equipment; experience with Siemens turbines is an advantage.
- Strong collaboration abilities and comfort working with both internal teams and external customers.
- Solid problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic project environments.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, run meetings, and present scopes confidently to clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Proficiency in engineering and maintenance-related IT systems and tools.
- Experience with medium-sized gas turbine maintenance, service business operations, or rotary equipment maintenance is considered meritorious
