Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Leader to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead the testing strategy for large-scale, cloud-based data and rule-processing systems used to detect financial irregularities.
- Validate data pipelines and ensure correctness, completeness, and consistency across end-to-end data flows.
- Test and verify rule engines, decision logic, and rule-based frameworks to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory expectations.
- Develop and execute automated tests using Python, Java, and SQL to support data validation and functional verification.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, system weaknesses, and data-related anomalies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and architecture teams to align QA practices with technical, business, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure QA processes support regulatory needs and organizational standards, particularly within financial-sector environments.
- Document test strategies, test cases, test results, and data validation outcomes with clarity and precision.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of quality practices, test automation frameworks, and validation approaches within a modern GCP ecosystem.
What you bring:
- 8–10+ years of experience testing data-driven systems or working in senior enterprise QA roles.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL for automation and data validation.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Bigtable, and Composer.
- Solid understanding of ETL testing, data modelling, and verification of data lineage in complex environments.
- Familiarity with rule-based engines, decision tables, or similar logic-driven frameworks.
- Strong system-thinking abilities with the capacity to link QA activities to business objectives and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field and background in complex software systems.
- Certifications such as ISTQB (Foundation/Agile/Automation), Google Cloud, or REQB, or willingness to obtain them.
- Experience from the banking or financial sector is highly meriting.
