About the role

In this position, you will play an important role in developing, integrating and refining one of our clients electrical systems, both on the hardware side and within functional system design. Your work will include everything from product updates and troubleshooting to early-stage development of new technology concepts at low TRL levels. Collaboration with international R&D teams, suppliers, and customers will be a key part of your daily activities as you help advance the next generation of electrified machinery. Example tasks include:

• Designing and constructing 400–1000 V AC systems for motor-drive applications, including component selection, dimensioning, and documentation of power cabinets.
• Developing, implementing, and optimizing electrical hardware and system functionality to meet future performance, availability, and safety requirements.
• Creating and reviewing SLDs, wiring diagrams, cable sizing, protection schemes, and bills of materials.
• Collaborating closely with global R&D teams, customers, and suppliers across Europe and worldwide.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong ability to interpret and apply ISO and electrical standards, including EN 60204
• 3+ years of experience in component selection, dimensioning and design of 400-1000V AC systems
• Knowledge of electrical systems for mobile machinery or similar industrial applications
• The ability to take ideas from concept to completed product
• Professional fluency in English and a good understanding of Swedish

Meritorious

• Experience with tools such as AutoCAD; Simulink or similar simulation tools is a merit
• Experience with 800 V DC systems is considered a strong merit
