Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Drive end-to-end development: understand user needs, design solutions, implement functionality, and ensure quality within an agile team.
- Develop embedded software in C within an Autosar-based environment, following ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.
- Contribute to driver interaction features across displays, stalks, and switches, working with both embedded C for core logic and C++/Qt for HMI visualization.
- Develop functionality that will be delivered to the instrument cluster (Driver Information Module) operating on a dual-processor architecture with Autosar on the vehicle side and Linux/Yocto for the graphical engine.
- Integrate with vehicle communication interfaces including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet using protocols such as SOME-IP, STOMP, and display sharing.
- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional scrum team with a Product Owner and a dedicated Scrum Master.
- Contribute to continuous integration, automated regression testing, and long-term ownership of team-developed products.
- Support architectural discussions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable and maintainable embedded solutions.
What you bring:
- Experience in embedded C development.
- Experience working with Autosar environments.
- Experience implementing software according to ISO 26262 requirements.
- Knowledge of C++/Qt for HMI visualization is highly valuable.
- Familiarity with communication interfaces such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Experience with SOME-IP, STOMP, and similar automotive communication protocols is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional development teams.
- Curiosity, fast learning, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Truck or automotive domain knowledge is a plus but not required
