Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On
- Lead and execute UX strategy for a customer support platform within the VCE Aftermarket domain, ensuring valuable, intuitive and user-centric experiences.
- Drive all UX activities including user research, interviews, usability testing, workshop facilitation and cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, product owners, developers and a service design lead to co-create concepts, journeys and prototypes.
- Translate user needs and insights into clear design artefacts such as wireframes, flows and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Communicate design concepts, rationale and user insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure UX quality across multiple devices, touchpoints and digital environments, continuously tracking and improving usability.
- Promote and elevate UX maturity across teams by mentoring junior designers and guiding cross-functional teams in user-centric methods.
- Contribute in agile development cycles, ensuring UX deliverables are integrated into iterative delivery.
- Support people development by growing team capabilities and contributing to competence building within UX.
What You Bring
- 12+ years of experience in UX design, with strong seniority in interaction design, visual design and UX research.
- Proven experience leading UX efforts, mentoring designers and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong capability in UX strategy, design leadership and driving user-centered design practices.
- Experience designing for complex, multi-device digital ecosystems and customer-facing platforms.
- Excellent skills in planning and executing user research, facilitation and usability validation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities with the capacity to convey design rationale clearly.
- Solid experience working in agile product teams within fast-paced iterative environments.
- Proficiency in Figma and/or similar design tools such as Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Design or equivalent.
- Ability to work on-site regularly with the Gothenburg-based team
