Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead mechanical engineering activities within a complex, multi-partner industrial project
- Coordinate equipment specifications and design requirements with Process, E&I and Civil engineering teams
- Review vendor packages to ensure technical accuracy, compliance and constructability
- Support plant layout development, equipment placement and mechanical integration
- Contribute to design and assessment of tanks, reactors, filters, dryers, pumps and other key process equipment
- Guide layout and piping design activities, including assessing pipe routing, clearances and mechanical interfaces
- Support HVAC system design for process facilities including airflow, extraction and safety-related requirements
- Ensure mechanical safety in areas involving HF, black mass and rotating equipment
- Take ownership of deliverables and drive EPCM-style execution in a development-stage project environment
What you bring:
- Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals as relevant to mechanical systems
- Experience in equipment design for tanks, reactors, filters, dryers, pumps and related process components
- Competence in layout and piping design; experience with pipe stress analysis is an advantage
- Proficiency in 3D modelling tools such as E3D and Navisworks
- Experience in HVAC design for process facilities, including safety and extraction requirements
- Ability to review vendor packages and ensure alignment with project specifications
- Strong coordination and documentation skills for cross-disciplinary engineering work
- Ability to take ownership, work independently and drive progress within a lean client team
- Experience working in multi-partner engineering environments is an advantage
