Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Function Owner Functional Safety to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Own the functional safety responsibilities for charging systems and power distribution in battery-electric vehicles.
• Ensure that all functional safety requirements are fulfilled and that safety processes are consistently applied within the agile team.
• Collaborate with the Functional Safety Manager to secure full compliance with ISO 26262.
• Contribute to essential safety artefacts, including HARA, Functional Safety Concepts, Technical Safety Concepts and safety requirements.
• Drive safety-related activities across the development cycle, including analysis, concept creation, verification and documentation.
• Support work related to vehicle type approvals and regulatory safety expectations.
• Work cross-functionally with system engineers, software teams and other stakeholders to ensure safe system integration and delivery.

What you bring:

• Experience working with functional safety, including risk analysis, safety concepts and safety verification (ISO 26262 experience is highly meritorious).
• Several years of experience in the automotive industry within system or function development.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience related to electric vehicles and their system domains.
• Project management and leadership capabilities with the ability to drive functional safety work effectively.
• Proven experience with ISO 26262 processes, Safety Case development and/or ASIL decomposition.
• Experience working with vehicle type approvals or regulatory safety requirements.
• Strong sense of ownership with the ability to take initiative and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
