We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join one of our key clients in Stockholm.
The ideal consultant brings strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, and modern DevOps practices.
Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
You’ll work closely with software engineering, architecture, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth deployments, reliable systems, and scalable platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Manage, optimize, and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP depending on client).
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability across environments.
- Drive automation across provisioning, configuration, and application deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Elastic, Datadog, etc.
- Work with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to manage and deploy applications.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure systems are secure, testable, and efficient.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to DevOps best practices, standards, and governance.
Technical Requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (client-specific preference can be added).
- Solid hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, Splunk).
- Good understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, DNS, VPC, security groups, etc.
- Experience with Git or equivalent version control systems.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience implementing security best practices (DevSecOps).
- Knowledge of service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Background with microservices and distributed systems.
- Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP (not mandatory but valuable).

- Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical direction.
