Kubikenborg Aluminium AB is Sweden's only producer of primary aluminum and is one of the largest industrial companies in Sundsvall. The factory was built in 1942, and we have the capacity to produce 130,000 tons of aluminum per year. The final product, consisting of ingots, is delivered to presses and rolling mills throughout Europe. Kubal currently has 460 employees.

We are looking for a committed and experienced Manager who wants to lead and develop our Casthouse at our factory in Sundsvall. As Casthouse Manager, you will have overall responsibility for our final product delivered to our customer. The Casthouse is one of our larger departments, with over 100 employees. You will have direct responsibility for 5 positions.

As a person, you have a strong leadership, you are safety-oriented, service-oriented, proactive, and flexible. You are driven by developing both yourself and the company and have good teamwork skills. Being accurate, problem-solving, and good at seeing opportunities and improvements are qualities that are highly valued. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the production departments.

The role includes being the contact person within the area of responsibility towards our owners. Good communication skills are necessary, both in Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

Requirements:

• Background at engineering positions in aluminium industry for 10 years or similar position for 5years
• University degree — Metallurgy or Materials sciences background is preferred
• Process improvement oriented
• Strong follow up ability and target oriented
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to develop corrective and preventive actions
• Risk analysis thinking and problem solving
• Well acquainted with the common Office programs.

Merits:

• Knowledge of core tools: PFMEA, SPC, QFD, MSA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan and Flow chart
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949
• Certified in PSCR (Product Safety & Conformity Representative)

The position reports to the CEO and is part of the company's management team.

This is full-time position with a start according to agreement.
