Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Vehicle & System Simulation Engineerto join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Develop and maintain advanced electric vehicle simulation models integrating control systems for both marine and industrial applications.
  • Perform simulations and analyses to support powertrain dimensioning, vehicle energy optimization, battery life prediction, charging and control strategies, and thermal management.
  • Utilize internal Global Simulation Platform (GSP), based on Matlab/Simulink, as the main analysis tool.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the CAE Simulation department to ensure simulation accuracy and consistency.
  • Communicate analysis results effectively to stakeholders and provide technical recommendations for design and performance improvements.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of simulation methodologies and processes within electromobility.

What you bring:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics & Control, Electric Power Engineering, Electromobility, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in vehicle and system simulation, with deep knowledge of electric and hybrid drive systems and their energy consumers.
  • Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink (mandatory) and familiarity with vehicle and control modeling.
  • Experience with battery systems, fuel cell technologies, or energy storage modeling is highly meriting.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
