Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies within the chassis domain.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers to ensure integration across systems.
• Create and refine 3D models and technical drawings using 3DEXperience and/or CATIA.
• Design and integrate attachments for fiberglass panels and sensors such as lidar, radar, and cameras.
• Develop sheet metal parts (laser-cut and bent) and 3D printed components using in-house printing capabilities.
• Contribute to the packaging and placement of components within the chassis, including cooling units and electronic modules.
• Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement activities to enhance quality and manufacturability.

What you bring:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer within chassis or related areas.
• Strong proficiency in 3DEXperience and/or CATIA.
• Experience designing and integrating attachments for composite panels and sensor systems.
• Hands-on experience with sheet metal and 3D printed part design.
• Knowledge of component packaging within constrained spaces, such as cooling and electronic systems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
