About us
Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Joe & the Juice, Toni & Guy and TAG Heuer. On the inside, we're a bunch of talented, motivated and humble designers, engineers and music experts. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced backend engineer with a strong background in functional programming, for our Play & Control team.
You will play a key part in evolving and deploying our next-generation playback system, the backbone that ensures music plays seamlessly across platforms, devices, and integrations.
The team owns the playback experience across all of our platforms. We make the music flow, from the cloud to speakers, through our apps and partner integrations. Our technology powers playback for mobile and desktop clients, our own hardware, and various connected devices through SDKs and APIs. Everyone in the team works across the stack, to ensure a smooth and stable music experience everywhere. You will be joining at an exciting time, our new playback architecture is being rolled out, and you’ll play a central role in shaping how it operates across all platforms.
