Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Deliver engineering solutions within retarder and PTO systems, ensuring high standards of design integrity and performance
• Develop 3D models and assemblies using CATIA V5, creating accurate and production-ready designs
• Produce and update assembly drawings and technical documentation in line with project and quality requirements
• Refine existing design concepts to improve functionality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
• Solve complex technical challenges with a practical and innovative approach
• Execute engineering changes according to established development processes and tools
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, and quality to secure aligned and robust technical solutions
• Contribute hands-on to prototype build, verification, and industrialization activities
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, processes, and design methodologies throughout project execution
• Adapt to changing project priorities while maintaining delivery precision and accountability

What you bring:

• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field
• Proven expertise in CATIA V5 for part and assembly design
• Solid experience with ENOVIA or similar PLM systems
• Strong understanding of R&D development processes and tools such as PD Process, FRAS, and ECO
• Ability to independently drive design tasks from concept to release
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical engineering mindset
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and hands-on approach to engineering challenges
• Availability to work onsite 4 days per week with flexibility to increase presence as needed
