Flow Lead – help us optimize how software flows through our organization

We’re looking for a Flow Lead, someone passionate about making complex software development run smoother, faster, and more predictably.

In this new and important role, you’ll ensure that our development processes truly flow from code to release by combining technical understanding, data-driven insights, and a strong mindset for continuous improvement.

Our systems are complex and highly secure, and we’re on a mission to help our development teams take greater end-to-end ownership of their integration and release pipelines. The Flow Lead will play a key role in driving this transformation and enabling smarter, faster delivery of value to our users.

What you’ll do

As a Flow Lead, you’ll take ownership of how work moves through the software development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with product owners, developers, Software Factory teams and leadership to identify bottlenecks, remove friction, and foster transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and visualizing flow metrics such as lead time, throughput, inflow/outflow, and code quality.
• Building and maintaining dashboards in Jira and Grafana that turn data into actionable insights.
• Collaborating with teams to identify and remove bottlenecks, and to improve processes, handoffs, and workflows.
• Coaching teams to adopt a flow mindset and supporting them in implementing CI/CD practices for faster and more reliable delivery.
• Leading retrospectives and workshops focused on predictability, throughput, and continuous improvement.

Who you are

You have a strong foundation in software development and a genuine interest in how people, processes, and tools come together to deliver great software. You might have experience as a DevOps engineer, CI/CD specialist, or agile practitioner, but most importantly, you’re driven by making complex systems run efficiently and effectively.

To succeed in this role, you likely bring:

• Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Hands-on experience building or improving CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Git or Bitbucket, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Some programming or scripting experience in Python, Go, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Skills in data visualization and analysis using tools like Grafana.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.

European citizenship is preferred due to the nature of our projects.
