The Opportunity

HVDC is looking for an Environmental lead to join our Sustainability & HSE Governance team. In this role you will support HVDCs global organization with focus on the environmental management system, supporting and driving improvements and contribute to a more sustainable future in a global organization with office locations, manufacturing sites, test facilities and several project- and service sites.

How you´ll make an impact

• Drive and promote a strong HSE & Sustainability culture and take on an expert role in the Environmental field
• Lead Environmental & Energy management system including relevant documents and processes
• Drive Environmental initiatives and follow up on Environmental targets
• Train and coach and support managers and employees on Environmental actions and compliance
• Chemical management on an overall level
• Perform Environmental SE reporting and analyze global Environmental performance, gather data and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
• Support compliance with local and international Environmental requirements and standards
• Assist with internal and external audits, including ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018, and ISO 50001: 2018

Your background

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Environmental Science, HSE or related field
• Experience from environmental or HSE roles
• Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken).
• Competent in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
• Competent in international Environmental legislation
