About the role

We are building one of Europe’s most modern full-service tech banks, serving both B2C and B2B customers with a full suite of products: deposits, savings, lending, accounts, mortgages, account credit, debit/credit cards, and instant payments.

We are seeking a commercial and visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) to join our executive leadership team. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of business growth, customer experience, and technology innovation. You will own the full product lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and customer-centric solutions across both B2C and B2B segments, including consumer credit, savings, corporate lending, payments, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the executive team to define and deliver the Northmill’s growth plan.
• Shape and lead the product vision and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
• Own the full product portfolio: lending, savings, payments, accounts, insurance.
• Lead and inspire high-performing teams across Sweden, Poland, and other hubs.
• Lead the New Product Approval Process (NPAP) with strong compliance and risk alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fintech, banking, or tech with senior leadership in product and technology.
• Proven record of scaling regulated financial services platforms.
• Strong understanding of B2C and B2B banking products.
• Expertise in AI/ML, digital platforms, APIs, cloud, and open banking.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FI, EBA, PSD2, DORA, AML).
• International expansion and M&A integration experience (advantage).
