In this role, you will be part of our production development team. In this role, you will support production and lead production implementations of the world's largest transformers. You will work with production development that gives you the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of our products. With a focus on supporting and developing production, you will also adhere to Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means that you take responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues. You will have a key role in identifying areas for improvement, implementing technical solutions and supporting production in the daily work.

You will be part of a fantastic team with good camaraderie who help each other and make sure to bring out the best of each other's knowledge and experience.

How you will make an impact

• You will lead and participate in development projects to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Identify problems and implement solutions and analyze production data and suggest improvements based on Lean and Six Sigma.
• You will also lead major investment projects.
• In the role, you will support digitalization and automation initiatives within the factory.
• You will be involved in the introduction of new products and processes. You will also introduce and update job descriptions and methodological regulations.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams. Also work closely with colleagues and suppliers to solve production challenges.

Your background

• You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or another relevant field.
• Work experience in production development or other similar role.
• You possess an analytical and problem-solving ability and have knowledge in Lean or Six Sigma.
• You possess good communication and collaboration skills.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Experience with Power BI, MES or CAD is a merit.
