Planning Manager

There is now an exciting opportunity to join one of Europe’s largest construction companies in building the new metro system in Stockholm! At Itinera, we are currently looking for a planning manager to contribute to the construction of the Arenastaden–Södra Hagalund and Hammarby Kanal stations.

The planning manager role requires meticulous coordination and strategic thinking to ensure the successful execution of the project. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, managing the planning team, and playing a key role in optimizing resources, managing timelines, and minimizing delays.

Main responsibilities as planning manager:

• Schedule project work in accordance with the requirements and guidelines specified in the contract.
• Plan work from both a production and logistics perspective in collaboration with the production manager and the planning team.
• Manage the master schedule and continuously prepare documentation, including 3- and 4-week lookahead plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal management and the client.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in large infrastructure projects; international experience is a plus.
• Degree in a relevant field.
• Solid knowledge and experience working with Primavera.
