The Opportunity

At Worldline, delivering a fantastic payment experience that our customers love is what we burn for. Our cloud-native acquiring platform is processing billions of card transactions including authorization processing and clearing and settlement for our customers to trust. Currently, we are looking for a skilled product oriented DevOps engineer.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

Our autonomous teams work with a lean product focused DevOps culture that continuously delivers true outcome, and if you build it, you run it! This means that you are responsible for:

• Active participation and contribution in all phases of the product lifecycle including discovery, delivery and operations.
• Delivering your team’s committed objectives, adapting to whatever is needed to reach the goal you and your team have committed yourselves to reach.
• Securing an outstanding qualitative service availability.

You love identifying the outcomes to be achieved together with your team, our customers, our internal users, other stakeholders and suppliers to deliver a truly outstanding acquiring processing experience for our customer and our business to love.

What makes you stand out

• You have previous experience from the card-payment industry, preferably focused on customer onboarding and customer portals.
• Are skilled in AWS and micro-services.
• Are passionate about delivering a payment acquiring experience that brings value for our customers and our business.
• Highly collaborative, setting your team first while also successfully collaborating with others.
• A role model for your team and others by paying attention to commitment, accountability and the true outcome for yourself, your team, our customers and internal users.
• Are comfortable in a fast-moving and agile culture - handling many different stakeholders, prioritizations and fast decisions is not an issue for you.

Who Are We Looking For

People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. You also:

• Have confirmed experience in software development and coding in various languages including Java, Python, JS, and SQL etc.
• Background in micro-services, high availability containerized service architecture and design running on AWS distributed over several availability zones and regions.
• As a result, we would like you also to have proficient knowledge in
• GCP and/or AWS cloud services including ESC, RDS, Terraform, CloudFormation
• Jenkins Pipeline and GIT, CI/CD, Release on Demand
• Docker
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or other meaningful field
• Deepened knowledge of software architecture and design including information security and experience from high-available API platforms is
• A deep understanding of software quality assurance principles
• Fluency in English

Skills we’d like

• Experience from DevOps ways of working and lean culture
• Paying attention to commitment, accountability and result for yourself and for your team.
• Experience from developing secure and/or PCI-DSS certified solutions is considered an advantage. As well as GDPR regulated solutions.
• Good communication and presentation abilities
• Challenging status quo
• Having a technical and curious mindset, continuously learning and sharing your knowledge with your peers and others.
