Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On
- Assist the Electrical Lead in reviewing and analyzing electrical design work for a designated project area.
- Support engineering partners to develop cost- and time-efficient electrical design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and equipment specifications.
- Provide technical input and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review, comment, and verify design documentation from EPCM, OEM, and suppliers.
- Work closely with EPCM partners to ensure safe, cost-effective, and schedule-compliant project delivery.
- Support quality achievement and performance improvement across the electrical engineering function.
- Represent the client in technical discussions and project meetings with various stakeholders.
- Coordinate inter-discipline interfaces and contribute to overall project integration.
- Work full-time at the client's office in Stockholm or at the project site in Boden, Norrbotten.
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design and engineering within major industrial capital projects (Steel Plant, Power Plant, Hydrogen, Oil & Gas).
- Proven expertise in reviewing electrical design deliverables and ensuring compliance with Swedish and international standards.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, including sub-stations, transformers, switchgear, motors, drives, transmission, and distribution.
- Experience with electrical design calculations, protection relay settings, hazard area classifications, and fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with documentation control systems such as ACC and Omega.
- Hands-on experience coordinating with EPCM and OEM electrical engineers.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and change management in large-scale projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex multi-team environment with overlapping responsibilities.
- Demonstrated capability to manage engineering and construction activities in capital projects.
- Fluent in verbal and written communication for both internal and external stakeholders.
