We are currently seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join a team focused on the development of PLC software solutions for crane automation systems. This opportunity involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of software components, and it offers a chance to contribute to innovative solutions within the field of automation and control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PLC software solutions for crane automation, ensuring high performance, safety, and reliability.
• Work collaboratively with teams to integrate software components and optimize systems.
• Analyze system specifications and hardware schematics to ensure the alignment of software solutions with project requirements.
• Identify potential issues in the system and propose improvements to enhance functionality.
• Perform thorough testing and validation of PLC code to ensure it meets quality and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug any issues encountered during the testing phase.
• Communicate project progress, timelines, and any potential delays to relevant stakeholders.

Required Background:

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Practical experience with Codesys and C programming, providing a solid foundation for developing efficient and reliable PLC software.
• Experience in designing and optimizing algorithms for enhanced system performance and responsiveness.
• Strong organizational and structured approach to managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear documentation.
• Familiarity with PLC Development Tools, specifically those used in crane automation.
• Understanding of automatic crane functionality is a plus.
• Previous experience in product development is considered an advantage, especially related to the product lifecycle and iterative development processes.
• Proficiency in both English and Swedish (professional working level).

• Fluent in English and Swedish
