About the company

Mero are happy to support our client with a Functional Tester where you will work deeply integrated with the Software Quality team with the goal of delivering the world’s most advanced and intuitive products within the field. The company is developing a product for consumers, and you will have colleagues both globally and locally in Malmö. We will provide more information about the company at the next step of the recruitment.

You will be hired as a consultant for the first 6 months, with the possibility for an extension.

About the Role

In the role you will participate in the analysis of test plans and requirements, organization and validation of documentation, writing and executing test cases, open issues providing debugging information, performing manual tests and automating test cases. Your role includes:

•Analyze features scope, functional and system requirements.

•Participate in the joint development and follow up of test plans, with QA Certifi-cation Managers, Program Managers and Testing Teams.

•Review the quality and completeness of documentation.

•Follow up version control, releases and changelog documentation.

•Define, write and execute manual test cases.

•Define and write automated test cases. Due to the nature of the system, this is mostly accomplished using python language.

•Validate releases and provide support to the Integration Test team.

•Create and track issue logs, review externally created issues.

Your knowledge & Experience

To succeed in this role, we think that you have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related technical field combined with proficiency in Functional Testing of embedded software systems. You are also skilled in Linux administration, automation and installation combined with great knowledge in testing tools such as Xray are a big advantages.

You also need to be fluent in English. Experience & Skills within automated testing in Python is a big plus but not required if you have technical interest and drive to learn.
