Cleeven is an Engineering and R&D consulting group supporting clients in their R&D efforts and operational excellence. We bring expertise in innovation and process development across a wide range of industries, including energy, pharmaceuticals & chemicals, aerospace & defense, transportation, IT & telecoms, and more.

We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Process Engineers to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing and developing chemical and industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in production environments.

Your Responsibilities:

Developing, optimizing, and implementing chemical and industrial processes

Creating and updating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

Conducting feasibility studies, process simulations, and technical assessments

Utilizing process modeling tools and simulation software for analysis and optimization

Collaborating with R&D and production teams to improve efficiency and sustainability

Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations

Troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues in production

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field

Experience with process simulation and modeling tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar

Strong knowledge of PFD and P&ID development and industrial process design

Familiarity with engineering tools for fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mass balance analysis

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Good communication and project management skills
