Assistant Project Manager, Construction and Manufacturing

Location: Undetermined, multiple customer sites in Sweden.

Qualifications

Work Experience in Construction projects and/or manufacturing:

• Experience in, for example, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, energy technology.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, and willing to learn Swedish

Meritorious:

• Internationally valid Driver’s license.
• Fluent in Albanian and/or Greek since key customer staff is from these countries.
• Experience in assisting project management or technical project planning is meritorious.

Vega Bianca has during the past years built up a business in scaling up production from lab to large scale. So far the company has done business in the life science tools industry as well as in textile manufacturing. It has assisted customers both in Sweden and internationally to develop products and businesses for companies selling products, mainly consumables, to the biotech and pharmaceuticals industries. The services provided by Vega Bianca are mainly project management and manufacturing/scale-up business including setting up small scale manufacturing for precision production. During 2024 several new international projects have been acquired and therefore the company needs to expand with less qualified staff.

Title: Assistant Project Manager with a focus on construction in manufacturing

About the Position

We are looking for an engaged and solution-oriented assistant person to work on a new project for a new customer assisting the project manager. The assistant project manager will be assisting the project manager with practical aspects of the site. The tasks could vary greatly from running errands, construction to interacting with customers and practical manufacturing work. We value work experience for example in construction projects on building sites. However, it is fundamental that you are willing to learn so that we can train you in relevant skills needed to work in a Swedish contexts, in local laws and rules as well as working with relevant tools

As an assistant project manager, your job is to simplify everyday work for the project manager and you will be an important part of Vega Bianca AB where we work innovatively to deliver quality and create value for our processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, coordinating, and executing practical aspects of projects.
• Assisting the project manager in analyzing and solve technical problems.
• Ensure that you contribute to projects being delivered within the agreed time, budget, and quality.
• Help the project manager to create and update project plans, reports, and documentation.
