As a Software Engineer in our Search team, you will take part in building and scaling cutting edge search technologies for all our channels. If you have experience in building back-end solutions, understand how engineering choices are influenced by business needs, and are excited by leveraging big data and machine learning to deliver impactful solutions, this role is for you.

About this work area
In the Search team, we are today four engineers working together in a Kanban style. All of us are part of designing, building, and supporting the solution. Data analysis and A/B-testing is a large part of how we guide our work. We are quite autonomous, self-organizing and self-sufficient in many ways, which means part of our daily work is to define how we get things done together.

The role is based in Malmö, Sweden and you will report to the Engineering Manager of the Search team.
In this recruitment there is no relocation support provided by IKEA, hence we're looking for people already living in the mentioned location.
In line with our value of togetherness we believe the best way for us to collaborate and co-create is when we meet in the office. This is why we expect you to spend the majority of time in the office.
