Your role and responsibilities
You will be project manager for our IS/IT related projects, mainly targeting increased automation and digitalization of our processes and tools landscape.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to define a planning strategy that includes a full list of activities that are important for the management of project, to decide on a project delivery methodology (waterfall, agile, etc.), and to align with stakeholders. Each day, you will plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver the Information Systems (IS) project outcomes within agreed time, scope, cost, and agreed quality. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating appropriate information to stakeholders promptly to achieve desired understanding and support and effectively managing stakeholders' expectations and relationships.
The work model for the role is hybrid, where weekly presence in our factory in Västerås is needed.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Defining all project documents (jointly with key stakeholders) including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
- Using knowledge and experience to forecast contingencies at the initial stages of the project, assessing the availability of information and the risks and issues that may arise during the project and deciding on the best approach to proceed.
- Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
- Executing IS project communications and reporting IS project performance against the plan and expected business outcome.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience in managing complex projects or portfolios in a global or multinational environment.
- Ability to collaborate with main stakeholder groups effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High level of adaptability and flexibility.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to manage budgets and financials associated with projects combined with risk management and problem-solving skills.
- Agile or Scrum experience is preferable.
- Flexibility to work onsite, hybrid, or remote as required by the role.
- Experience from working in Force Measurement related products, systems and/or processes.
