As the Head of FP&A for our site in Karlskrona, you will oversee and conduct the financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and analytical activities of our organization. Guide and support a diverse FP&A team This role will give you the possibility to direct, mentor, and develop a team of seven FP&A professionals located in Karlskrona and Kaunas (Lithuania), providing regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations. Your role will be to promote a collaborative, agile, and dynamic environment that encourages professional growth and continuous improvement. Your responsibility will also be to: * Facilitate the annual budgeting process, focusing on resource allocation, capital planning, and management of expenses * Oversee quarterly and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring accurate revenue projections, expense forecasts, and scenario analyses * Partner with senior leadership and functional managers to interpret financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations * Collaborate with Treasury and production controlling, procurement, project controlling teams etc to manage and monitor foreign exchange and metal price exposures * Evaluate, implement, and optimize financial processes and tools that improve data accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities * Develop and implement FX and metal hedging strategies and process to mitigate risks and protect margin Manage digital transformation initiatives within the FP&A department, identifying opportunities for automation, digitalization, robotic solutions, AI solutions, and advanced analytics You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and report directly to the VP of Finance Karlskrona. This position is based in Denmark or Sweden. You can either be home-based or work from our offices in Malmö or Broendby/Copenhagen. You will be expected to be in Karlskrona 2 days per week. Extensive knowledge in financial planning combined with effective leadership skills We are looking for a person who has leadership experience who can effectively mentor a team. You are an engaged leader who promotes a collaborative, results-driven environment and encourages professional growth. You have a high level of integrity, ethics, and discretion in handling confidential information, and you are skilled at managing routine tasks efficiently. You also have: * Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field * 7–10 years of experience in finance or FP&A * Experience from a managerial or leadership role (e.g. project manager role) where you have directed a team * Experience from digital transformation and digitalization of workflows * Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel * Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Power BI, QlikView), finance digitalization and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Fluency in English Be a catalyst for financial transformation NKT is committed to fostering a diverse organization and a culture where people from different backgrounds can thrive and are inspired to perform at their best.
