Responsibilities and Authority
Overseeing the production processes, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing sites.
Develop and implement global manufacturing strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
Lead and manage manufacturing operations across multiple international sites to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Collaborate with senior management to set performance goals and align manufacturing strategies with company objectives.
Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Develop and implement quality control systems to maintain high standards of product quality.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Tasks and recurring activities
Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.
Implement best practices in lean manufacturing and other process improvement methodologies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and components.
Optimize inventory management to reduce costs and ensure the availability of necessary materials for production.
Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on manufacturing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications & experience
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale, global manufacturing operations.
