We’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join CoStudios and help us optimize financial processes, ensure seamless operations, and contribute to our growth in the dynamic world of media & entertainment.

About CoStudios:

CoStudios is a newly formed Scandinavian media group bringing together two of Sweden’s top independent production companies, Art & Bob and Breakable Films, along with leading podcast outlet Third Ear Studio. We sit in a welcoming office spread over five floors at Östermalm, Stockholm.

About the Role:

As a Junior Business Controller, you’ll play a vital role within our finance team, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, handling transactions, and improving our payment workflows. This is a hands-on position where your analytical skills and financial expertise will directly impact our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage invoices and accounts payable
• Assist with bookkeeping and month-end closing
• Manage payroll administration
• Handle correspondence and communication with suppliers and customers
• Participate in budgeting and preparation of financial reports
• Perform various administrative tasks related to the finance department

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of working experience within financial services and payroll.
• An academic degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience in the industry).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues when needed.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Preferred: Experience working with Fortnox.
