Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Trade Marketing Manager will oversee and execute trade marketing activities across assigned channels, categories, customers, and brands, both online and offline. Acting as a key liaison between the Marketing department, Retail team, and Commercial teams, the Trade Marketing Manager will drive brand visibility, ensure alignment with marketing strategies, and optimize promotional investments to achieve sales and budget objectives.
What you'll get to do:
Trade Marketing Strategy Development:
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to translate brand strategies into comprehensive trade marketing plans that enhance brand awareness and drive sell-out.
• Develop and execute omnichannel trade marketing strategies in partnership with the E-commerce team.
Account Management:
• Implement tailored trade marketing plans for assigned accounts, identifying growth opportunities.
• Define and oversee promotional activities for both online and offline channels.
Execution & Performance Monitoring:
• Manage the execution of trade marketing initiatives, ensuring efficiency and competitiveness.
• Monitor and analyze performance data to refine strategies and improve results.
Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work with sales teams to align trade marketing tools and strategies with business objectives.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and insights from the Marketing team to support trade initiatives.
Supplier & Resource Management:
• Ensure the efficient logistics of point-of-sale materials and manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Support new initiatives in collaboration with global retail and brand teams.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
• Partner with visual merchandising, PR, and commercial teams to tailor trade marketing plans.
• Conduct store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and gather market insights.
Additional Tasks:
• Represent the brand at trade shows and events, enhancing visibility and sharing insights with stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations based on market intelligence and analytics.
We'd love to meet you if you have:
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies.
• Experience in creation and follow-up of omnichannel trade plans.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Additional qualifications in digital marketing or e-commerce are a plus.
Languages:
• English (other Nordic languages are a plus)
Competencies:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Creativity in developing promotional materials and trade initiatives.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis.
