We are pursuing an experienced Director Sourcing to our Stockholm HQ. In this role you will be overall responsible for managing the daily sourcing operation, as well as leading a team of 8 direct reports. You will be working with our skilled Product Development Project Buyers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Sourcing Sustainability. The sourcing operations team focuses mainly on sourcing projects related to product development hence you will be in close collaboration with both Project Managers and engineers from the R&D department.
For this position we are looking for people with high technical knowledge and interest, as well as genuine experience in working with global supplier base.

Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility of Product Development Sourcing projects
- Owner of Supplier BOM cost in Development Projects and during Product Life cycle
- Develop and maintain sourcing processes and systems
- KPI reporting
- Sourcing’s main interphase in external audits
- Continuously drive cost and supply improvements
Qualification and experience:
- 5-10 years’ proven experience as Sourcing or Procurement manager from a global manufacturing industry with supplier management
- Excellent leadership skills, prior experience of managing a team
- Experience from Sourcing Projects related to Product Development in close collaboration with Project Managers and R&D
- Experience from sourcing of direct material for manufacturing in a global supplier base environment
- Experienced in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- University degree in a technical field
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English both spoken and written
