Sous Chef Position at Two Guys Gastro Pub – Älmhult

We are looking for a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team at Two Guys Gastro Pub in Älmhult! As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking a talented culinary professional who is ready to be part of a dynamic and creative team dedicated to bringing exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

About the Role: As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, efficient service, and maintaining kitchen standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our kitchen from the ground up and play a pivotal role in the establishment of our culinary vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise kitchen staff to ensure food quality and timely service.
• Monitor food inventory, ordering, and ensuring all food safety standards are met.
• Train, motivate, and develop kitchen team members.
• Ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
• Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to create a positive, energetic atmosphere.

Our Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in international cuisine, with a solid understanding of different culinary techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team.
• A keen interest in food, creativity, and staying current with culinary trends.
• A good character, team-oriented, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about the business side of the kitchen, from cost management to maintaining high service standards.
